Missions

“Missions is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because worship doesn’t.”
— John Piper.

Our goal as a church is to see all people come to Worship God for who he is. We know that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phil 2:10-11), but unless people come to know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord in this life then that acknowledgement of Jesus Christ will come too late.

It is thus our desire to see people converted through the preaching of the Gospel, both locally in and around Mooi River and to the ends of the earth. We believe that Jesus gave the great commission (Matt 28:18-20) to the church and it is our privilege and responsibility to go and make disciples of all nations.

We believe that our Missions responsibility starts in our Jerusalem, and extends to our Judea and then to the utter most parts of the earth.

To this end we are involved in various missions activities and seek to support various missionaries both locally and internationally.
